Connect Remotely. Valpo’s virtual private network, or VPN, extends our Valpo network across a public network and enables users like you to send and receive data from your home network as if you were directly connected to Valpo’s network on campus. While some applications may require VPN access, others do not. Learn more about connecting to Valpo’s VPN from a Windows 10 machine.

Protect Your Information. Social media is a great way to stay connected to friends and family members while social distancing. There are lots of great things that come with the social media experience but please remember to post wisely! A trend on social media currently is to play “games” where there is a long list of questions (i.e., favorite color, first pet’s name, street you grew up on, etc.) that you post your personal answer to. While this seems like a harmless attempt for people to get to know you, it can also be used by hackers to gather information that could help them crack your passwords! Please be careful!
