WHO: Valparaiso University Department of Education’s Professional Educators Partnership welcomes newly elected State Superintendent Glenda Ritz.
Ritz’ election was a major upset in the Indiana state elections in November 2012, and many people in the education profession are anxious to hear about her vision for the Indiana Department of Education.
WHAT: A meet-and-greet reception featuring a welcome by Valparaiso University President Mark Heckler, an address by Glenda Ritz, and a question-and-answer session. There is no cost to attend the reception and light refreshments will be served.
WHEN: Wednesday, May 8, 4 p.m. Doors open at 3:15 p.m.
