of Student Engagement

Valparaiso University participates in the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) every year. The university benchmarks our performance against university-identified peer institutions and other schools of similar size and composition. This national survey helps the university assess how effective we are in promoting an environment conducive to student learning and student development both inside and outside the classroom. NSSE results are shared with various constituencies on campus for planning and program assessment.
