Teaching/Course Evaluations

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness oversees the teaching/course evaluation system for all programs within the University. At the completion of each course, teaching evaluations are administered online using the CoursEval evaluation software.

Please note that all student survey responses are anonymous. Student names cannot be attached to any individual survey information and results are not released until after grades have been submitted.

There are two portals on the CoursEval home page. The MyCoursEval portal is accessible to students, instructors, and school administrators using their VU network credentials. Users have the ability to take surveys and view reports.

The Manager Portal allows select department survey administrators to create and review surveys. CoursEval managers use their VU network username and password to log in.

The Office of Information Technology has created a folder on the S: drive for evaluation results by department. Please submit an ITicket if you, your department chair, or dean would like to have access to this folder.
