Valpo’s residence halls and apartment buildings are home to approximately 1,500 undergraduate students.

The campus includes seven residence halls and two apartment-style buildings. Some halls house national sororities, while others are designated for first-year or upperclass students.

Yes, Valpo has a six-semester live-on requirement. First-year, sophomore, and junior students must live in approved university housing unless they qualify for an exemption.

Most first-year students live in Alumni or Brandt Halls, which are structured specifically for new students.

Upperclass students usually live in Beacon Hall, Guild/Memorial Hall, Wehrenberg Hall, or the Sorority Housing Complex. They may also be eligible for on-campus apartments like Promenade Apartments if they’ve completed four or more semesters.

Rooms are furnished with a bed, mattress, desk, chair, closet or wardrobe, and dresser or shared storage drawers. Internet access, laundry, and cable TV connections are also included.
