Alumni Scholarships

This scholarship is open to recent Valpo alumni who earned their bachelor’s degree and wish to pursue a master’s degree. Undergraduate alumni who apply for the scholarship will be eligible for a 30% scholarship toward tuition to any master’s level program, excluding the physician assistant program, post-professional doctor of occupational therapy, online master’s programs in public health and healthcare administration, and graduate certificates.

Become a leader in your field with a Valpo graduate degree.

  • Valparaiso University undergraduate alumni who have completed a Valpo bachelor’s degree and are pursuing their first Valparaiso University graduate program. 
  • Must be a Valpo undergraduate alumni enrolling in their first full-time master’s level program.
  • Excludes the following programs: post-professional doctor of occupational therapy (DrOT), master of science in physician assistant studies (MSPA), online master of public health (MPH), online master of healthcare administration (MHCA), and graduate certificates.
  • Students must remain in good academic standing to be eligible for the scholarship.

  • The scholarship will cover 30% of the tuition rate.  The scholarship is restricted to tuition and does not cover fees or housing.
  • Other institutional awards (including cohort discounts, school/program merit awards, athletics scholarships tuition remission, etc.) cannot be stacked on top of the 30% tuition scholarship.
  • The scholarship does not cover undergraduate prerequisite courses.
  • Continuous enrollment is not required to maintain the scholarship.

Students can submit their application to their selected graduate program.

Admission decisions are contingent upon meeting program admission requirements and application deadlines. 

The scholarship will be posted to the admitted student’s account after the drop/add period of each term.
