Photos, Media, and Gifts at Commencement

Valparaiso University captures special memories throughout Commencement with professional photography and offers various keepsakes for graduates and families. GradImages® photographs each graduate on stage, and proofs can be viewed and purchased online. Media passes are available by request, and commemorative gifts like shirts, flowers, and diploma frames can be purchased on-site or from the University Bookstore.

Commencement

Photos, Media, and Gifts Info

Ceremony Photographs
  • Photos will be taken of every graduate as they walk across the stage. 
  • GradImages® is the official photographer for Commencement. To view your proofs online, please visit gradimages.com. Graduates will be contacted by GradImages with instructions for how to log in and proofs. Pictures may be ordered online, by phone, or by mail. If you have any questions please contact Customer Service at giservice@gradimages.net or 800.261.2576.
  • After the commencement ceremony, graduates and guests are welcome to explore campus for photo opportunities that hold special significance.

Media

Members of the media who wish to be in attendance at the commencement ceremonies must email commencement@valpo.edu to secure a media pass.

Gifts

Commencement gifts are offered on site on the day of commencement. Gifts include shirts and flowers. This service is managed by a third party vendor called The Commencement Group. If you have questions for this vendor, please contact  or 800.780.5174 .

Valparaiso University merchandise, including diploma frames can be purchased from the University Bookstore in the Harre Union or online.
