In addition to the required courses outlined below, each student in the program is required to complete one of the following:

  • A Cooperative Education experience combining full-time professional, paid work experience with academic coursework, or
  • An Internship

150 Credits Needed To Sit For CPA Exam

Pathways to earn the credits required for the CPA exam:

  • Add a double major or minors to your accounting degree to reach 150 credit hours.
  • Join Valpo’s flexible, online or in-person, 36 credit hour, 1-year MBA program.
