Here are just a few ways the police officers and department achieve this goal.

The extended services the Valparaiso University Police Department offers to the community includes and are not limited to:

Vehicle jump starts on and near campus (offered to campus community and guests)
Gain entry to vehicle lockouts on and near campus (offered to campus community and guests)
Assist with vehicle tire changes on and near campus (offered to campus community and guests)
Assist with several student organization events on campus
Pull floats for student organizations off campus
Staff advisors for student organizations
Continue to collaborate with students for the annual Valpo Polar Plunge
Brought the Special Olympics Indiana Polar Plunge fundraiser to campus
