How to Report a Crime on Campus

All incidents and suspicious activity should be reported to the Valparaiso University Police Department immediately.

For Emergencies*

Call 911,
Use the 911 emergency blue light phones located across campus,
Use the yellow emergency call boxes on some campus buildings,
Or contact the VUPD Dispatch Center at 219.464.5430

Never email or text the Police Department during an emergency situation or when observing suspicious activity. Always call in these situations to ensure a prompt response.
