Critical Threat Response

Valpo PD is highly trained in active shooter and rescue task force response. Incident management is utilized for all events, which helps prepare for incidents. We pray this intense training is never needed, however in today’s world everyone should be trained and prepared for critical incidents. Our department police officers and staff train numerous times a year as responders. We also offer training on active shooter awareness and how non-responders can make themselves safe in a critical incident.
