The Valpo Rec Kids Camp is a traditional summer camp for children 5 years of age through 12. Each week is packed with games, crafts, special events, outdoor adventures, and much more right on the beautiful Valparaiso University campus. Your child’s experience is our number one priority!

Where Does it Take Place?

Valparaiso University Campus (camper pickup and drop off location will be available late May).

What Are the Dates of Camp?

June 2 – Aug 8; no camp on July 3rd and 4th.

What Are the Camp Time?

Mon – Fri only; 6:45AM – 5:45PM.

What Grades Can Participate?

K – 7th grade (must be at least 5 years of age by 1st day of camp, no kids older than 12).

How Much Does Camp Cost?

$190/week + $11.50 fee.

Is There Food or Snacks Available?

We do not provide lunch and snacks. Coolers/fridges will be available to store lunches.

Is There a Cancellation/Refund Policy?

Full refund if given one week notice. All refunds are processed through Ryzer and are subject to a $15 cancellation fee. Contact recreationalsports@valpo.edu to modify or make changes to your schedule.

Registration Information

Max of 32 kids registered per day. Waitlist available.

Payment Details

A partial or full payment option is available. If you wish to register for the entire summer and do not want to pay in full, you are able to pay a percentage at the time of your initial registration. Full payment will be due the Wednesday before the week of camp.
