Junior mathematics major Jacob Roth was named as a 2019-2020 Goldwater scholar. Each year this prestigious scholarship is awarded to talented undergraduates who plan to pursue research careers in the natural sciences, mathematics and engineering. Jacob is one of 496 winners nationally and just 11 winners in the state of Indiana this year.
