Peer Tutoring Support

Get one-on-one academic help tailored to your needs.

The Academic Success Center provides personalized academic support through its Peer Tutoring Program, connecting students with trained peer tutors for 100- and 200-level courses. Once matched, students receive free weekly sessions throughout the semester. To get started, complete the Peer Tutor Request Form and connect with the ASC team in person, by phone, or by email for more information.

Peer Tutoring Program

The Academic Success Center (ASC) offers a variety of programs and services to support academic achievement, including the Peer Tutoring Program (serving many 100- and 200-level courses), Supplemental Instruction, and GS-100: Strategies for Academic Success (a 1-credit course).  If you want to work with a peer tutor for a particular 100- or 200-level course that you are currently taking at Valpo, connect with the Academic Success Center’s Peer Tutoring Program.  Students need to first apply to the program by completing the Peer Tutor Request Form.  Once a student is matched with a tutor, the student receives free weekly tutoring (one 1-hour tutoring session a week) during the semester. Visit, call, or email the ASC to get more information about campus-wide academic support resources.
