To begin the admission process, submit an application as soon as possible choosing the application method that works best for you.

What do I need to know?

If you are applying as a freshman, ask your school counselor or registrar’s office to send your official high school transcripts to: .
If you are applying as a transfer student, please request to have your official college transcripts for each college/university that you have attended sent to: . Submitting transcripts on your own behalf will render the transcripts unofficial and delay the ability for your application to be sent to the admission committee for review.
Valpo is test optional and does not require you to submit SAT or ACT scores; however, if you would like your scores to be considered, please indicate so on your application and send your scores to Valpo.
If you’ve taken Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, or other college-level tests, send us those scores, too.
A personal essay is not required, but including one can help us get to know you better
