The Valparaiso University Gospel Choir brings students, alumni, faculty, and staff together in a celebration of faith through music. With weekly rehearsals and a mission to uplift hearts and share the good news of Jesus through song, the choir nurtures talent, builds community, and spreads joy through gospel music.

The Chapel of the Resurrection

Lift Every Voice

The Valparaiso University Gospel Choir, reintroduced on September 19, 2023, exists to unite voices through the Gospel message in song and uplift both members and listeners. Rehearsals are held Tuesdays from 4:30–5:30 p.m. in Helge Center Music Room 122.

As Director, I’m honored to lead and nurture the musical gifts of others as we come together to inspire hearts through music. All VU students, faculty, staff, and alumni are welcome to join.

The Gospel fuels the spirit—gospel music brings encouragement, joy, and hope. Let us sing together!
