Inside-Out Prison Exchange: Learning Beyond the Classroom

Valpo’s Inside-Out course, “Rethinking Crime, Justice, and Behavior from the Inside Out,” brings together undergraduate students and incarcerated individuals at Westville Correctional Facility. This transformative course allows students to explore the criminal justice system, justice reform, and social behavior through collaborative dialogue. It challenges participants to shift their perspectives, promoting academic engagement and personal growth while fostering meaningful discussions on justice and change.
