The College of Arts & Sciences at Valparaiso University is led by Dean Gregg B. “Bagel” Johnson and Associate Dean Richard Sévère. Together, they bring deep academic and administrative experience to guide the College’s mission. Dr. Johnson, a political science scholar, focuses on comparative politics and Latin American policy. Dr. Sévère, an English professor and published researcher, emphasizes writing, equity, and graduate mentorship.
