Recognizing Excellence in Service and Scholarship

The Servant Scholar award honors students who have earned a social work GPA of at least 3.0 after the fall semester of their senior year and completed 350 hours of service through their practicum by March 1st of their senior year. Individuals who are receiving this award have demonstrated that they have incorporated service, social justice, and academic achievement into their everyday lives. As a social work community, we publicly recognize individuals with graduation honor cords that contain three colors, green (for service), blue (for social justice), and gold (for academic achievement), which represent the core values of this award.
