The faculty of the College of Arts and Sciences is associated with programs leading to these degrees granted by the Valparaiso University Graduate School.
Building on the foundational knowledge gained in the Bachelor-level studies at Valpo, students in the Master of Education program can expect to study and analyze specializations including STEM, special education, reading and literacy, and more.
Through hands-on experiential learning, students in the Master of Science program at the Valparaiso University have the chance to learn through analysis, lab work, and detailed scientific research. This graduate program equips students with the tools necessary to excel in complex fields.
Valpo’s MSW program prepares passionate leaders to serve and practice at the forefront of social change. Valparaiso University’s social work program has a legacy of excellence and our new MSW program provides regional and national markets with ethical, inclusive, and motivated social work professionals serving in mental health settings, schools, the criminal justice field, and beyond.

Early-Entry
Early-entry graduate programs permit qualified Valpo undergraduate students to apply for early entry into select Valpo graduate programs and enroll in graduate-level coursework during their senior year. This graduate-level coursework will then be applied to both the student’s undergraduate and graduate degrees, offering significant savings in both time and tuition.
