The new minor in entrepreneurship will give students greater insight into cultivating their ideas and growing and maintaining them in a global business market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The college\u2019s program keeps Valpo competitive with other universities and colleges that have begun entrepreneurship programs of their own in recent years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The minor program takes students through principles and concepts of new business creation, complements minors in all of Valpo\u2019s colleges, and gives students \u2014 many of whom will work for a startup or other small business in their lifetimes \u2014 a clearer look at job opportunities they might never have known existed. The guidance hardly would end in a classroom; the proposed program would require students to examine prospects for new business plans or small business growth right here in Valparaiso and Porter County.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
