A Valpo business degree remains one of the most prestigious in the nation thanks to a recent announcement by a global accrediting agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Valpo\u2019s College of Business remains in the top 5 percent of business schools worldwide after retaining its accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The global group ranks the College among the elite 5 percent of business schools worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe College is dedicated to a high-quality learning environment to ensure the success of each student,\u201d said James D. Brodzinski, Ph.D., dean of the College of Business. \u201cAACSB accreditation drives us to exceed these standards and secure the College\u2019s future as an extraordinary university committed to graduating students of promise.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That promise bears itself out on the bottom line. The College\u2019s most recent survey found 95 percent of 2013-2014 graduates are employed or enrolled in graduate studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The college also is annually recognized for the quality of its faculty and value to students in the Midwest and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reid, executive vice president and chief accreditation officer of AACSB International. \u201cBusiness schools must not only meet specific standards of excellence, but their deans, faculty, and professional staff must make a commitment to continuous improvement to ensure that the institution will continue to deliver the highest quality of education to students.\u201d AACSB International was formed in 1916 to offer accreditation to business schools offering undergraduate, master\u2019s, or doctoral degrees in business and accounting.
