Broaden Your Engineering Degree

Valpo’s Engineering PLUS Program is designed for students who want to expand their education beyond traditional engineering. By taking 9 extra summer credits across your first two years, you can graduate in four years with a major in engineering and a complementary minor or second major—boosting your skills and marketability in industry or grad school.

Want to grow beyond your core engineering degree? Valpo’s Engineering PLUS Program lets you earn a B.S. in civil, computer, electrical, environmental, mechanical, or bioengineering (biomechanical track) while adding a second major or minor—still graduating in four years.

By taking 9 credits during the summer between your freshman and sophomore years (additional cost), you expand your education and become more marketable for industry or graduate school.
