Historical Theatre Presents: “The Singer of Shanghai,” a new radio play performed by the graduate students at Valparaiso University in the arts and entertainment administration program. This year’s production will be broadcasted on YouTube, focusing on the Jewish Refugees of Shanghai, China, who escaped Hitler’s regime. For the first time, we are granted the pleasure of having surviving Shanghai refugees as guest stars to join our cast. All are welcome to go on a journey through the past and present of the strength, courage, and camaraderie of the Shanghai Jews.
