Biography

Dr. Bent studies judgment and decision-making. He is particularly interested in how people make decisions with environmental consequences. In other words, what factors influence a person’s decision to go green? Dr. Bent teaches General Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Conservation Psychology, and Statistics. In his free time, he enjoys taking his dog to the park, cooking, and cheering on his beloved St. Louis Cardinals. Prior to Valpo, Dr. Bent was a visiting professor at Furman University.
