About

Dr. Margarita Rayzberg is an assistant professor of sociology and criminology. She is a science and technology studies scholar whose work examines politics, knowledge production, and expertise in public health and global development. After receiving her PhD in Sociology from Northwestern University, she served as a post-doctoral associate in the Science and Technology Studies Department at Cornell University. At Valpo, she teaches Introduction to Sociology, Inequality in America and electives like Global Inequality and Development. Margarita is also thrilled to be teaching Core and welcomes opportunities for collaborative research with students and colleagues.
