Biography

Professor Brush joined the faculty of the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies Program from its beginning in July 2018. He is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and maintains his clinical expertise as a practicing physician assistant in Urgent Care and Orthopedics. Professor Brush is an active member of both the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) and the Indiana Academy of Physician Assistants (IAPA) as past president. Professor Brush is a graduate of a 5-year physician assistant program himself, from the University of Detroit Mercy. Since 2012, he has practiced clinically as a family practice, urgent care and orthopedic physician assistant throughout his medical career. Professor Brush’s research interests are on Interprofessional Education with clinical interests in diabetes and obesity management.
