Ruanjia (Katerina) Liu graduated from AIS department at Rutgers University.  Her research interests primarily focus on governmental accounting, not-for-profit accounting, and accounting education.

She has a solid background in data analytics, especially in auditing, and expertise in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
