About our Healthcare Administration Degree

Valpo’s master of healthcare administration program teaches students to use critical thinking skills to effectively communicate and manage employees; to improve patient safety, clinical processes and health outcomes; and to respectfully recognize the diversity of their patients and populations while executing the policies of their healthcare organization.

Outside the classroom, students acquire practical experience through an internship totaling 240 hours (3 credits at 80 hours per credit).

We understand that every student’s journey is unique, needing flexibility.  Whether you’re looking to dive into your studies or balance your education with other commitments, we have options that cater to your needs and goals.

Valpo offers the flexibility to pursue your master of healthcare administration in a 100% online format or traditionally, on campus. Also, students may complete this 39-credit program on either a full-time or part-time basis.
