Mission Statement

The mission of the Asian American Pacific Islander Coalition is to create a welcoming environment for students of Asian or Pacific Islander heritage. We also work to educate campus about the different aspects of Asian and Pacific Islander culture and issues, advocate for our members, as well as create and nurture student leaders within the API community on campus.

The vision of the Asian American Pacific Islander Coalition includes the education and celebration of Pacific Islander and Asian American cultures with the students, staff, and community in Valparaiso University through developing student awareness, optimizing campus activities, and maximizing humanitarian work.
