Women’s Sorority Women’s Sorority Primary Recruitment period will be January 12–18, 2026 and each potential new member must complete the Sorority Primary Recruitment Registration form by Monday, January 12, 2026 at 10:00 p.m. CST in order to participate. The registration form can be found by clicking here. give There will be a Sorority Recruitment Orientation on Monday, January 12, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. in the Harre Union, Ballroom A. This orientation is encouraged for all women planning to participate in the primary recruitment process in 2026. Women will meet and connect with their Recruitment Counselor (RC) and also meet the other women in their recruitment group.

9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Sorority Housing Complex

Campus Involvement Round events will introduce all women to the national philanthropy programs for each of the sororities as well as the members’ campus involvements. Attire: Casual – jeans, a sweater, your PNM sorority unity shirt.

5:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Sorority Housing Complex

Sisterhood and Values Round will introduce all women to the elements of sisterhood that each of the sororities at Valparaiso University celebrate. Each chapter will be sharing special aspects of the values of the organization with the potential new members. Women going through recruitment will attend between one and four events during this round. Attire: Business attire – dress slacks and a blouse or sweater is appropriate.

4:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Sorority Housing Complex

Preference Round is the most serious of the events during the primary recruitment period. Women participating in recruitment will be exposed to some of the ceremonial aspects of sorority membership and will learn about the lifelong commitment of joining a sorority. Women going through recruitment will attend between one and two events this round. Attire: Semi-formal attire – please no prom dresses.

1:00 p.m.
Harre Union, Ballrooms (followed by Chapter Bid Day Programming)

Bid Day is the celebration of being asked to join a sorority at Valparaiso University. All women going through primary recruitment are asked to meet in a pre-assigned location with their Recruitment Counselor at 1:00 p.m. Women will receive their membership invitation at this time and then participate in the Panhellenic New Member Ceremony! Women should be prepared for the ceremony and celebration to last about two hours, followed by additional activities in the evening with their chapter. Attire: Jeans, t-shirt, and a zip-up hoodie/fleece. Each new member will be provided a t-shirt from the chapter she is joining to wear to the ceremony.
