WHO: Valparaiso University presents the annual Advent-Christmas Vespers service, featuring the Kantorei Choir of the Chapel of the Resurrection, the University Resurrection Ringers handbell choir, and — at the 7 p.m. service only — the Jubilate Choir of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Valparaiso, Indiana.
WHAT: The annual service of lessons and carols is a traditional part of Advent celebrations on campus. This year’s Vespers, “A Branch Shall Grow,” will feature music from the choirs.
A reception will be held at the Harre Union Ballroom, adjacent to the Chapel, between services. All are welcome.
