WHO: Dance Marathon 2019 will hold its seventh annual event to raise funds and bring awareness to sick and injured kids within the local community.
WHAT: Dance Marathon events are held across North America to benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, raising funds and awareness for more than 170 pediatric hospitals across the continent.
Approximately 500 students participate in Valpo’s Dance Marathon each year. One of the major sponsors for this year’s event is the National Guard, and a section of the event will feature a portion of the Morale Dance from each of the previous six years.
With this year’s events, total donations to Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago are expected to pass $300,000.
